Children are not just the church of tomorrow but they are the church of today as well. They are our future leaders. They are the ones that we want to proactively pass off the church to. Children were openly welcomed and cherished by Jesus and we want to do the same.

AWANA – Awana is a program serving children from age 3 through the sixth grade. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. We believe that learning and obeying God’s word will give them a meaningful and rewarding life. This is accomplished through bible memory, games, achievements, awards and fellowship. Awana also helps discipline clubbers to work, play and study within their own peer group.
Awana meets Wednesday nights throughout the school year from 6:15 to 7:45 pm.
Men’s & Women’s Ministry
FAMILY IMPACT GROUPS – Family Impact Groups serve as the foundation of Glendive Alliance Church’s community group ministry. Typically, these groups feature multiple generations, with participants varying in their depth of faith and experience in the church. The goal of these groups is to nurture casual but meaningful connections and encourage the life-long process of whole-life transformation. Family Impact Groups meet regularly and consistently, but at various locations on different days and at various times.
Though not all groups can accommodate children at this time, our Family Impact Groups are designed to encourage entire families to participate. This family-based approach allows families to grow, minister, and be discipled together. It is our hope that as we strengthen our families, we strengthen our church. Therefore, most of our FIGs are open to children. Our children are an important part of our church, and that is a message that needs to ring loud and clear to our church family and our community in general. We probably underestimate the positive impact that can be made on a child who experiences a group of Christians loving each other, caring for one another, learning from each other, praying for each other and carrying one another’s burdens. If these sort of meaningful relationships are what we desire for the adults of our church, why would we not also desire them for our children? The more we can do for and with our children and their families, the stronger we will grow as a church family.
HOPE PROMISES – Come join us on a journey of hope and healing as we encourage one another to live in freedom from drug and alcohol addictions.
Monday nights from 6-8pm at Glendive Alliance Church. Dinner is provided. Childcare available.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY – There are numerous ways to connect through women’s ministry. Here are a few ways…
MOPS – We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women o be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. We know it’s a little confusing so let’s just stick with “MOPS.”
We are moms and we believe that better moms make a better world.
MOPS meets the first Thursday of each month September through May from 9:30 – 11:30 at Glendive Alliance Church. You can find them on Facebook here.
GREAT COMMISSION WOMEN – In response to the Great Commission to “make disciples of all nations” in Matthew 28:19-20, and as an auxiliary ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance organized to assist in the advancement of prayer and financial support of the worldwide work of the C&MA, the ambition of Great Commission Women is to enlist women of all generations in Effective Fervent Prayer, encourage an intimate relationship with Christ through intentional Spiritual Formation, and engage in reaching the lost.
We meet monthly, the first Thursday of each month, at 7:00pm.
ASCENT – Committed to connecting, developing, training, and giving leadership opportunities to students. The ASCENT focuses on providing a safe, exciting, and relational environment where students can regularly gather, learn, and engage with one another, on providing Biblically deep and thought provoking teaching, on teaching students HOW to think and not just WHAT to think. We meet Wednesdays at 7:20 pm in the church sanctuary. The night starts with some time to hang out with drinks and snacks provided. This is when leaders meet new students and introduce them to the group. Then there is a time for games and group participation. After some announcements there is a time for worship and a lesson. Youth Group ends between 9:00pm and 9:15pm.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sunday morning classes start at 10:00 am in the church basement. There is a class for middle school and a class for high school/college. On Sunday mornings, the focus is a deeper Bible study time.
